Culberson County is a county in the state of Texas that was founded in 1911. It is named after David B. Culberson, a lawyer, and soldier in the American Civil War. The county spans an area of 3,813 square miles, almost exclusively land. Access to water for many of the just over 2,000 residents is only available through water wells.
